For Class C, the citywide median from inspection to a filed certification is 36 days. 20.5% of Class C lead paint violations have ever been certified corrected, and 16,416 have stood open more than a year with nothing filed.
Does this page report a lead paint condition or clear a violation?
No. It counts violations. A condition inside an apartment is reported to 311, and a correction is certified with HPD directly. This site files nothing and represents no one, and nothing here is advice.
What these numbers do not tell you
They do not say whether a condition is gone. A violation with no certification may have been fixed the same week with nothing filed, or never touched, and HPD’s data cannot tell the two apart.
