For hazardous classes, this is the status where penalty risk concentrates. HPD still accepts a late certification, and it moves the status to NOV Certified Late.
What to do
Correct the condition and certify now: a late certification still changes the violation's status after the deadline has passed. If a building has many of these, start with the oldest hazardous ones.

Yes. HPD accepts late certifications, and NOV Certified Late is the status for exactly that. The missed deadline stays visible in the building's history.
